Michael Jackson Memorial Service Complete with Full Moon Eclipse on July 7, 2009

Total Eclipse of the Sun Will Follow on July 22, 2009; A Weird Cosmic Connection

Aly Adair
Interestingly, in the July 2009 month that the world mourns the loss of Michael Jackson from cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, there will be a Full Moon and a penumbral lunar eclipse on the day of Michael Jackson's Memorial Service. Two weeks later, on July 22, 2009 the skies over India, Asia, and China will transform from a major total solar eclipse. This is only cosmically fitting since most of the people in the universe sit in awe of Michael Jackson, the superhuman entertainer and most will eternally wonder what caused his superhuman weirdness. Like any unexplained phenomena in the universe, you can turn to religion, philosophy, or astrology to explain it.

If you love astronomy, astrology, philosophy, or just plain weird things, you have to be fascinated by the fact that Michael Jackson was such a rare addition to the human race and that a lunar eclipse and a total solar eclipse happening two weeks apart during our mourning of Jackson is off the charts. A penumbral lunar eclipse is totally invisible to the human eye, yet some fraction of the Sun's rays still reach the most deeply eclipsed parts of the Moon. During Michael Jackson's Memorial Service, like the penumbral lunar eclipse, there will be many sides of Michael Jackson's life that are invisible to the human eye, yet his Sun's rays will reach the world's deeply eclipsed crevices as they did in his life.

In Michael Jackson's astrology, the Sun represents a powerful, but sometimes negative force in his life. In a bizarre way, these astronomical ecliptic events during July 2009 are symbolic of Jackson's ability to shine his light rays into his most deeply eclipsed parts of his life and overcome and influence with a force more powerful than the Sun. Perhaps Michael Jackson's family should plan his burial for July 22, 2009. It would be like a grand universal statement that the whole of Michael Jackson was bigger and better than than the partial eclipses of his dark sides in life.

Michael Jackson was born in the astrological sign of Virgo on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. While Virgo, The Virgin, has traditional characteristics like being modest, shy, meticulous, reliable, practical, diligent, intelligent, and analytical, the darker side of Virgo can be a worrier, a perfectionist, fussy, harsh, and overcritical. Virgo is the only zodiac sign that is represented by a woman. In a self-conscious way, Virgos have a deep understanding of people's problems and they can tackle other people's problems in more practical ways than they tackle their own problems. But with strong, sensitive Virgo qualities can come insecurities, self-doubt, and vulnerability.

According to Jeff Jawer, who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in The History and Science of Astrology from the University of Massachusetts, Michael Jackson had combinations of the Moon and the Sun in his astrological universe that would explain much of his musical ability but also how he could turn from the bright side of Virgo to the deeper dark side of Virgo. Michael Jackson had a Pisces Moon in his Sun that represented creativity, feelings and a life without emotional boundaries. The Pisces Moon in his Sun might also create uncertainty that would explain Michael Jackson's sometimes reclusive behavior.

Like millions of Baby Boomers in the world, I grew up listening to the Jackson 5 and watching the many mystical transformations of Michael Jackson with wonderment. I felt sorry for Michael Jackson and understand how his life could never be normal. I hope his children have a much different experience, and I hope Michael Jackson is resting in peace in his Neverland in the Heavens. I don't think there will ever be another perfect combination of the Planets, the Moons, and the Sun that will deliver such a rare stellar gift to Earth.

My God it's true: The universe does revolve around Michael Jackson and anything having to do with his life!!! Look, I like writing about some aspects of his music, etc., but this deification of MJ is going overboard. He was a good singer and performer, and some aspects of his death are newsworthy, but he was an incredibly flawed human being who shouldn't be treated as if he were a god.

I'm reading this because I love your writing but it is absolutely, positively the LAST thing I intend to read about Michael Jackson for a long time. I'm on MJ overload.
