In a recent Home-Going Ceremony for music icon James Brown held in Augusta, Ga, Michael Jackson made an appearance and said farewell to "His God Father." After being out of the country for so long, Michael Jackson spoke to over 9,000 people about how Mr. Brown had inspired him.
According to the Rev. Al Sharpton, who also spoke at the home-going, Mr. Brown had requested that Mr. Jackson return to music so that the industry could once again be uplifted. Instead of chanting about pride, we are now using the "N" word and referring to each other as B****es and Ho's. What an indictment from Mr. Brown. And by the way,
wasn't there recent uproar regarding something like this?
Whatever you think of any of the parties concerned, this was a powerful speech and moment in music history.

Post a Commentplease come back michael jackson, i love you
For anybody who is still suspicious about Michael Jackson check out crimewriter A Jones book 'Michael Jackson Conspiracy'. Like alot of people, she thought Michael Jackson was guilty, before reviewing all the evidence. In the book she tells what REALLY went on the courtroom, not what people in the media had many believe.
It was found not guilty for a reason. I recommend the book to anyone. http://www.aphroditejones.com/
Regardless of all the crap that has happened to him Michael Jackson remains a legend.
His new album is coming out early 2008, and i for one cannot wait!
Lets just let the man make music, thats what he does best!
While it is no doubt that Michael is different from the norm (and different has always fallen under attack) I do not believe that he harmed any of those boys. He is too much a child himself. He is back and I am glad to see it. He was awarded the Diamond Award on the 17th Annual World Music Awards and the crowds went crazy chanting Michael. Men and Women were crying and ecstatic. He has touched many hearts and his fans certainly love him and are loyal to him.
Video wasn't available. It is amazing how we got from "Respect Yourself" to girls adoring miscogynistic young men. It's sad that all of Michael Jackson's good works (such as USA for Africa) are diminished because of his illness. Won't call someone with cancer "pervert" would we.
Did you read that Jackson, is going to convert to Islam??? I have no idea what thats all about but i swore i saw it on the news or on AC someplace.
I've heard that Michael Jackson is recording again... I'd like to see him make a comeback and get out of this rut.
Nobody will probably question his talent, but protect your sons for God's Sakes! The pervert is back!
