Michael Kors Leg Shine - Is it Worth It?

I recently discovered that my legs have become one of my best assets. I don't know if it is because I started training martial arts more than I ever have or what, but I find that I am getting complimented more often. Michael Kors Leg Shine is a product that was developed to create a hint of color, as well as shine, to your legs.

When shopping at Sephora in Dallas, I heard about this fine addition to Michael Kors. I became somewhat intrigued at the idea and inquired more. After contemplating and debating whether or not to try Michael Kors Leg Shine, I decided to cave in and try it.

PROS

Michael Kors Leg Shine not only dried immediately, it lasted a long time. If I had to choose the best thing about this product, these two qualities would be it. It also didn't interfere with clothing and didn't create any weird stains or cause any odd discrepancies.

Application is key and one of the best things about Michael Kors Leg Shine is the fact that the application is relatively easy. The applicator almost looks like a stick of deodorant. In fact, it reminds me so much like one, but more pristine. It is very easy to use.

The smell of this product is powerful. It is dramatic. If you are a floral fragrance fanatic, you are going to love Michael Kors Leg Shine. The Gardenia scent in this product is very prevalent. Although it is noticeable to the senses, it depends on personal taste whether you love it or hate it. I personally found the fragrance to be decent for a floral, but it would not be my personal choice.

CONS

There are three shades to this product. There is Classic, which is a sheer gold, the Shimmer, which is a nude shimmer, and the Bronze, which is sheer bronze. These shades are all beautiful, but they don't give the same result to everyone. In fact, this product is not for all skin tones. Despite Classic being a pretty sheer gold shade, it doesn't look that way on every skin tone. In fact, it barely showed up on mine. I am an NC42 in MAC, so I am more medium- to dark-skinned rather than light and fair to medium skinned. When I applied this product to my legs, it only added minimal shine. Bronze wasn't that visible either and the Shimmer just barely showed up. I have seen other ladies wear Michael Kors Leg Shine and it was fairly visible on them.

If you are searching for a dramatic shine to your legs, you will not get it with this product. At least, I didn't. The shine result of this product is very subtle and rather faint, yet visible. For you ladies out there that want a dewy look to your legs, you are not going to have that result with Michael Kors Leg Shine.

Not all products are fragrance free. In fact, Michael Kors Leg Shine is one of those products. Although I find the fragrance to be a nice fragrance, it has the possibility, as well as, potential of being overpowering to those that are not a fan or simply are not into products with potent fragrances. If you are searching for a product that is fragrance free or free of any synthetic fragrances, this product is not the best choice.

Michael Kors Leg Shine is available at your nearest Michael Kors retailer or Sephora for $32. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes, but it would depend on the your overall skin tone (which includes both base color and actual undertone) and the tangible benefits you wish to receive. Would I use this product again? No.
