Michael Lohan Has Words of Advice for Lindsay Lohan About Life in Jail

TMZ and US Weekly are reporting that Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael Lohan wants to hive his daughter some advice about life in prison before she reports to jail on July 20th for a 90 day sentence.

Calling himself a concerned, loving parent Michael Lohan told the media sites he wants his daughter to be prepared for the good and the bad of life in jail and learn from his experiences in jail.

Mike, a former Wall Street trader and businessman, spent three years in prison in New York after he was convicted of insider trading.

Lohan told the NY Post, "It's not going to be a good experience for her. Right now, she should be working on rectifying the situation and getting better. It's just a horrible experience. Twenty-three hours a day, she'll be locked up. I'm going to get her out of that cell as much as I can. And Kate will be there, and we'll work to get her out of that cell as much as possible."

Michael Lohan gave the interview to the Post Thursday night after he was followed around New York City by a throng of paparazzi reporters while trying to dine out with his fiance Kate Majors at STK Restaurant. Kate Majors is famous in her own right for dating former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosslin and being Lindsay Lohan's assistant.

Michael admitted in the interview that Lindsay Lohan refuses to speak to him "because she knows I still want to throw her in [rehab]. I've been trying to tell her how much I love her, that I'm behind her, that when she's ready, I'm ready to help her.If she would just realize that what she's taking is toxic. Dina has denied that Lindsay is on prescription meds. Lindsay has denied that she is on prescription meds. Her friends have. Everyone has! And look at her! They're lying."

Currently Lindsay and her attorney Tiffany Feder-Cohen are appealing her sentence of 90 days in an Orange County jail followed by 90 days at an in-patient facility for drug and alcohol addiction and another 90 days of probation after that.

Michael Lohan has been doing the rounds over the past week to try and tell his side of his daughter's legal and emotional problems calling everyone in her life "toxic" and not looking out for her best interest. He insists if he was able to take over her life like Brittany Spears father did he could get his daughter back to the top of Hollywood.

Lohan said his daughter "is not a criminal. She's a person with a disease. She really is. She needs help. She needs medical attention."

But, before finishing his sit down over dinner with the NY Post reporter Michael Lohan managed to take a final jab at his ex-wife Dina Lohan by saying, "Dina should be concentrating on helping Lindsay get off prescription drugs instead of stealing Fudgy the Whales from Carvel!"

Michael is referring to the statement Carvel Ice Cream had to release regarding a situation where Dina Lohan called the police when Carvel took back a special Black Card only given to 75 celebrities to celebrate the company's 75th birthday. Lindsay and Ali Lohan were entitled to one free ice cream a day for 75 years with the card, but mom Dina used it to get tons of free ice cream for herself and entire extended family on multiple trips.

Dina on the other hand still insists her daughter doesn't have a problem with drugs or alcohol and that she is usually with her in the clubs when the alleged incidents happen.

I find Lindsay Lohan's father's words about his daughter sounds more like a need to speak in the media... rather than sincerity. Don't get Lohans.
