Michael Vick and Dog Fighting: What Do You Think?
Vick needs to pay his debt to society since he violated the law, but should he be barred from ever playing in the NFL again? I say if he has the testicular fortitude, he should be allowed to play after doing his time.
That is not the only question though. Vick is assumed to have gambled. He didn't gamble on anything were he could control over the outcome, he gambled, allegedly, on dog fights. There is talk that gambling of any kind can get you banned for life, like Pete Rose, in any pro sport. That to me is asinine. Still that seems to be the rule for pro sports.
My question to the masses is what do you think? Is the Michael Vick situation racial? I don't think so. Stupidity is not a racial trait. White folks can be just as stupid. I see nothing racial in this issue, but hey, I am white, so what do I know? You tell me in the comments.
Another question is should Vick get a chance to play again in the NFL? I say yes, after serving his debt to society, he should have another shot. If he gets one, he will have to show extreme strength of character to overcome the fan abuse he is sure to experience. If he can handle the situation, more power to him. Then it is your view that counts, leave a comment.
Should he be allowed to own another dog? After serving his debt, yes he should be allowed. Then if he gets anything other than a Chihuahua, there is a chance he is suffering from serious mental defect. Pit Bulls are beautiful dogs that have to have experienced owners if they are to be pets. Should Vick want to return to raising Pit Bulls, cleansing the gene pool might need to be considered. Here is your chance to voice your opinion, should Vick be allowed to own any more pets?

Shame on all of you who value a dog more than a human. If you not a single one of you wouldn't kill a million monkeys to get the cure for AIDS then you forfeited the right to live. And, quite frankly, would make you people the sickos. Vick did wrong, but does PEDA so dominate our culture that a dog is worth more than a human. I am sure you are uneducated and are only capable of playing football or basketball, or who knows maybe you are a little above the rest and make money off of dogs to as it is not manual labor which is something you are not capable of doing. The NFL is about representing. Michael Vick is not a role model and should not be allowed to represent the NFL. He should be picking cotton. He is also representing the black community. He is wack!
The man is a killer, and PETA would need a dump truck full of red paint to throw on this man. He killed living beings for sport. Personally, if I had a chance, I'd present a court case opposing his return.

Animal rights activist are doing nothing about KFC, McD, Burger King and the other establishments that kill animals in the most cruel manner.
