Michele Bachmann's History Lesson

Steven West

Don't know much about history. Ask Michele Bachmann.

1. George Washington discovered America. He landed in New York and hailed a cab.

2. The Revolutionary War was between the North and the South. It occurred in 1812.

3. Abraham Lincoln was the inventor of the penny. Lincoln was known as a cheapskate.

4. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Gettysburg Address. He was very civil about it.

5. Samuel Adams cried, "The Japanese are coming. Watch out for Toyotas."

6. Alexander Hamilton invented the blender. He also invented the mixer and the carving knife.

7. Thomas Edison invented the kite. He got a charge out of his invention.

8. The Wright Brothers were dyslexic. They didn't know how to write. Also, they invented the carpool.

9. Albert Einstein never ate pork and wrote the laws of relative relationships. When the mother-in-law comes for a visit, it is time to seek refuge.

10. Ronald Reagan initially wanted Bonzo to be his Vice President. Bonzo declined the offer since he thought the country was going bananas.
