Consumer Product Review

On a regular basis, I purchase and eat Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce frozen meal entree. Usually, I purchase this frozen item at my neighborhood Walgreens Pharmacy, where it is very reasonably priced.

Sometimes I like to heat one of these dinners, then eat it with some mashed potatoes or additional pasta. Quite often, I eat this pasta and chicken meal as a side dish with many other items. It is very convenient and can be prepared in just a few minutes.

Presented here, as a service to the consumer at large, is an article which reviews and examines Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce.

Size
The net weight of the standard sized package of Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce is 7.5 ounces (213 grams). One package counts as one serving. In physical size, the package measures roughly 7" x 5.5".

Price
The regular retail price charged for one 7.5 ounce package of Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce at West Hartford, Connecticut area Walgreens Pharmacies is approximately $0.99c.

This price seems very reasonable to me. There aren't too many products that offer a good-sized serving of pasta and chicken in a tasty cream sauce for only one dollar.

Consistency / Texture
When cooked according to the guidelines printed on the back of the package, Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce offers several different pleasing textures. The pasta noodles are soft, yet slightly firm, the chicken chunks are real, juicy and tender, the peas and carrot pieces are soft and the cream sauce is smooth and it clings well to the pasta.

Taste / Flavor
This convenient frozen item really does taste very good. The pasta itself has a nice mellow flavor, the chicken tastes fresh and real, the vegetables are likewise fresh and real and the cream sauce is delicately seasoned, with an appealing chicken-based flavor.

A faint Italian-style flavor is present in Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce, but like the sauce's overall flavor, it is understated. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of 8.5.

Packaging
Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce is packaged in a cardboard box that lifts open from the top. When heating the container in a microwave oven, one corner of the lid should be opened to help the meal to vent.

Overall Rating
This frozen meal is a great item to keep on hand in the freezer. It serves well as a tasty side dish, or as a light meal. Very reasonably priced, Michelina's Zap 'ems Gourmet Pasta & Chicken in cream sauce is a recommended item.
