Michelle Bachmann Running for President

Now I Know God Has a Sense of Humor

According to MSNBC, Outspoken tea party favorite Michele Bachmann cast herself as the "bold choice" for the Republican presidential nomination as she formally kicked off her campaign Monday in her Iowa home town.

My question at this point would probably be, What is our country coming to? Sure anyone that qualifies or pays their money or whatever the technical part of the Presidential Elections are, can run if they choose. After all, we are in America still. However, Michelle Bachmann is a train wreck waiting to happen. She is Sarah Palin, only a little more informed. Not much, but a little. She is a woman. Well, that is a great attribute, I agree. I think that is probably the only trait that I can agree with. Everything she says is crazy and she flip flops on everything she does and says. Yet she claims to be a better candidate that President Obama. Please....Please....Please Stop!

Why must we endure this year and a half long circus, only to put someone in there that isn't going to do anything? Michelle Bachmann talks about what President Obama is NOT doing, but as per the usual Republican spiel, she doesn't have a clue on how to fix anything. Her campaign strategy is to just talk as much trash as possible about President Obama and blink at the camera's. That feature in itself is enough to not like her. If you have watched her for more than a minute, you have seen that first of all, you can hardly ever see her eyes. She is squinting most of the time and then she blinks ALL of the time. Is that a medical condition? Whatever the cause, it is extremely annoying to watch. Then when she opens her mouth, you realize that she is a backstabber, she is wishy-washy, she is clueless on the history of our country and she doesn't have the qualities of a competent President. She is not Hillary Clinton by miles.

According to MSNBC, In March, she famously flubbed Revolutionary War geography. She told a group of students and conservative activists in Manchester, N.H. "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord." Those first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired in Massachusetts, not New Hampshire. She later admitted she made a mistake.

Her rants & raves about President Obama are starting to sound like war cries. Such as this statement posted on CNN "Make no mistake about it: President Obama is a one-term president," Bachmann declared. "Together we can rein in all the corruption and waste that has become Washington and instead leave a better America for future generations." http://edition.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/06/27/bachmann.2012/index.html.
Is is mandatory, as a candidate to just say the say the same old stuff with a few added extras? First of all, they all do what they are told once they get there. They put on a show and then perform like monkeys after the oath is said. Michelle Bachmann is a phony. She portrays herself as a conservative and honorable, yet her comments about the Democrats, from which she hailed, appeared to be a huge stab. She declared she was, "not one of those"! OK, Michelle, you go girl! Which ever way the wind is blowing that will benefit your agenda.

I am not surprised by Bachmann's run for President. I am not surprised at her popularity. I am only surprised that anyone is taking her seriously as a true contender for President. She is clueless. I can only hope for a Saturday Night Live imitation that will be entertaining I am sure. Whoever the lucky person that decides to play her, she will most assuredly obtain the same level of fame as Tina Fey for her Sarah Palin reenactment.

Sadly, we have to endure this next year and some months of lies, historical errors, blinking eyes and squinting, before Michelle Bachmann will fade into the sunset and hopefully stop talking. We can only hold on and change the channel as much as possible.

And sadly, the lame-stream media is doing their weak-best to black out Dr Ron Paul. If Michelle Bachmann gets the nod, it's because the GOP wants Obama re-elected. I can't support a candidate who tries to say who gets to marry whom.
