Michelle Duggar is Pregnant with Baby Number Seventeen!
The Duggars first came into the spotlight when the Discovery Channel featured them on their very own show "Raising Sixteen Children." You read that right, sixteen children. It seems the Duggars are putting their family size into the hands of God. They searched the scriptures and found that God says, "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them" (Psalms 127:3-5).
The children each have names that begin with 'J' and all are home-schooled. The question of how they support themselves obviously comes to mind right away. The Duggars do not believe in debt and buy only the things that they can afford. The Duggars recently moved from a tiny three bedroom house into a 7,000 square foot home that sits on 20 acres. The house was built by the family over a long period of time.
The average age between Michelle and Jim Bob's children is eighteen months. In total, Michelle has been pregnant for approximately 144 months!

Post a CommentI come from a devout Christian family and have been brought up with an abiding and deep observance of Christian/family values. Education has always played a major part of these values. I am puzzled and dismayed that the Duggars have not made it possible for their children to get even accredited high school diplomas let alone further education. I am an elementary school teacher and have 4 children; a minister, a lawyer; a nurse and an accredited Christian grade school teacher. Everyone of them is an observent Christian and church member. Our children have been brought to be self sufficient. My husband and I see this as an important part of our job as parents. No place in the bible does says children should be denied an education.

What kind of message is she sending her daughters, to get married and stay committed, bring forth all of your children with ONE man, that is the message, her daughters are studying to become midwifes by the way...they are home schooled so they are being educated first of all and learning many values and morals right fromtheir parents that some in this world will never get...or create for ourselves...this is for Julie Simmons,,,parents are to teach their children morals and values how to be respectful to elders and this counrty is out of control, they have taken prayer out of school, but if watch the Duggars they have instituted that into their daily famiily lifestyle, many of us in America should try it and not wait for politicians to make or break what the Bible says we should be doing,,,we all have free will, to live correctly the Duggars are surely doing that.
For all of you that say God has nothing to do with the births how small is your brain,,,God gives life and takes life away...So he has given them both healthy bodies to create and bring forth life through MIchelle, I hope that she stays in PERFECT health and continues to bring forth more Children, I am proud of them and they have a purpose just as everyone on this earth does, they are showing many of us how to live correctly, being married (AS ONE) and having children within their marraige not stepping out on each other to conduct immoral acts of sin (adultry, fornication) raising their children together as we all should do but fall short,,,,,to GOD be all the glory for he has blessed them tremendously. And what differnce does it make how they support their children they are making it happen, out God first and he shall suppy all of your needs...God first and if u pay attention, they always give God the glory and praise, that is how u make it.
I Think enough is enough.Give Michelle a break!! Here body needs a rest.She is'nt 16 anymore!! She may look younger but sooner or later she may pay for al those pregnancies.GOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER GETTING PREGNANT!!! What kind of message is this sending to his daughters!! That they are baby making machines!! I only have one & right now it is very challenging!! Being with a 14 year old is no picnic at times!! Also sheltering all those kids is'nt real life either. What happens when they leave to make their own lives!! What will they have really learned?Not even the perfect family gets along all the time.Just seems to hard to believe!! What do you think?
I totally agree w/ Craftc. they can have as many kids as they want, but i hope they're taking responsibility for it and not depending on our tax money to raise them.
i DONOT MIND HOW MANY CHILDREN THEY HAVE, ALTHOUGH GOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. HOWEVER, I ALSO WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY SUPPORT THIS HUGE FAMILY AND LARGE HOUSE. iF THEY PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND ARE NOT ON ANY FORM OF WELFARE OR FREE MEDICAL THAT IS FINE. IF THEY LIVE ON ANY FORM OF WELFARE IT IS NOT FINE.
I LOVE Joshua Duggar also. I would LOVE to meet him. Come on Josh give me a chance.
