Michelle McGee's Bombshell: 'Sorry You Were Lied To, Sandra, so was I'

Valerie Ferrari
In an all too familiar scenario, reviled Jesse James' mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, has gone on record to let Sandra Bullock know that her Jesse James really is a villain.

People Magazine reports that Ms. McGee appeared on the Australian TV show, "Today Tonight," where she addressed the duplicity that she says affected not only Sandra Bullock, but herself: "I feel like I was duped just as much as Sandra was, I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was. If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn't be in this situation." Jesse James, claims McGee, told her that he and Bullock were separated.

In other remarks, she spoke directly to Sandra, apologizing for the public embarrassment, indicating that she regrets that the affair became public knowledge. She also said: "I'm sorry for everything," which must include the affair itself.

Most women who have plans to continue an affair or marry someone else's husband, regardless of whatever wiles they may choose to employ, go on the offensive against the injured wife after being discovered, so perhaps Michelle is trying to say that she doesn't want a liar like Jesse James either.

In the meantime, Celebrity Cafe.com asks why George Lopez continues to hang around Sandra Bullock's house. He is "constantly" there, driving the paparazzi nuts. George Lopez and Sandra Bullock have been good friends for around 10 years, but Lopez is a married man. What would Debbie Reynolds say? Probably the same thing as Ann Landers and Dear Abby. They would all tell George's wife to go with him, or perhaps remind her of the remark George once made on the "Tonight Show," when asked why he likes golf: "Any chance I can get to hit something that's white."
