Michigan's Adventure's top attraction is the ever-frightening "Shivering Timbers". This massive wooden coaster takes you up 122 feet in the air on the hill climb and sends you back down at 57 mph. While many would find this just to be an average coaster, it's the creaking and crackling sounds that will make you panic. No fear though as obviously you will get this with every wooden coaster but it will definitely adds some intensity to your ride. Amongst other coasters include a dual racer coaster, a corkscrew, and even a kid wooden coaster to help prep the young ones for some bigger screams later on.
You can also find all the classic rides such as the scrambler, bumper cars, go-karts, and more. You will also find great food stands and always-popular 50's style diner. Don't forget to stop by Snoopy's souvenir shop that offers t-shirts and other cool souvenirs. The Snoopy thing is kind of the theme at Michigan's Adventure.
Inside the Michigan's Adventure water park, you will find a variety of rides as well. The more popular ride inside the water park would be the white water rapids ride. This exciting rapid adventure sends you through waterfalls, geysers, and more. This ride is guaranteed to get you wet just to give you a heads up. Amongst other attractions at the Michigan's Adventure water park include Commotion Ocean and Tidal Wave. These are just two of the three wave pools featured at Michigan's Adventure.
There are plenty of water slides to please everyone including long twisting slides that are uncovered and covered. The log ride is pretty basic which is more of a scream and get wet ride. The lazy river is a nice peaceful part of the park where you just lay on a tube and float along. The river also has random waterfall, water streams that will spray you and more. This is one of my favorite parts but its also very packed usually just to warn you.
Admission into Michigan's Adventure will cost you $24 a person. That is $24 that gets you into that main part of the park that has all the roller coasters, classic rides, games, concessions and more. You will also be getting admission to the water park as well, which includes everything in the last paragraph and more. There are other costs like if you want to rent a locker at the water park and the go-karts in the regular park will cost extra per ticket. If you live near Muskegon, you can just ride over to the park to pick up your tickets. You can also choose to go online to http://www.miadventure.com/ and purchase e-tickets, which are just the electronic version for your tickets. Just take those to the park and your set to go.
Michigan's Adventure is a great family park, which offers rides for everyone in every age group. If you love coasters, then Shivering Timbers is a must ride and don't forget about the corkscrew. If you hit up both parks, make sure to check out the wave pools and the rapids ride is a must! Michigan's Adventure is a great amusement park for anyone in Michigan or around Michigan.

These sound really good. We have a Busch Gardens nearby in Williamsburg and Kings Dominion in Richmond. Each of them also have a huge waterpark. My daughter and her husband take my grandson all of the time. I maybe go once a year. As you get older, all those uphill trails and 100 plus steps that our parks have make it harder to go. When the kids were little, though, we took them all of the time. They and their father are coaster buffs, big time!
