Michigan Residents Find Income and Exposure on Associated Content

Helping People Manage in Tough Economy by Paying Them to Publish Online

Laura
NEW YORK and DENVER, April 9--Associated Content, the Web's leading online publishing platform, is providing a source of income for residents of economically hard-hit Michigan. 4,000 Michiganders are currently earning money and gaining exposure by publishing articles, audio, video and images on www.associatedcontent.com.

One of those people is Lansing college student Jenne Joy, who had been recently laid off when she found Associated Content in August, 2008. Since she began publishing 8 months ago, Associated Content has become her primary source of income. "I make as much on AC as I would working a regular job, only AC is way better than a regular job," said Jenne, "I set my own hours, I write about things I enjoy, and I get paid to do it."

Associated Content has been paying contributors regularly since its inception in 2005. 250,000 people are currently registered to publish content on any topic of their choice, in any format. As they earn money, users grow their professional reputations and connect with a dynamic community of fellow content producers. In addition to receiving upfront payments and Performance Payments based on traffic, contributors can accept custom assignments from Associated Content's many business partners.

Lewiston resident Kristy Burmeister recommends Associated Content to other Michigan residents, "With the state of Michigan's economy, I want a safety net. AC gives me extra money each month to help pay my bills and provides a feeling of security."

Royal Oak technical writer Gaylin Walli publishes on Associated Content to keep her resume fresh while she hunts for a job. "My husband finds it amusing that I keep a pad of paper in every room of the house just in case an idea hits me at an odd time," says Gaylin, whose articles about organic foods and grocery shopping will make her money every time they are visited on associatedcontent.com.
