Halloween at Walt Disney World
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #1 While the party starts at 7pm, you are able to get into the park at 4pm. It is HIGHLY recommended that you rest during the day so that you are "good to go" till midnight.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #2 There are two parades at each Party, the majority of guests at the Party go to the first parade and then leave right after "Hallowishes". Do rides during the first Boo-to-You Parade and attend the second one.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #3 Wait until later in the evening to do Trick or Treating at the Party. As the night moves along and the crowds get lighter, the Cast Members start handing out handfuls, rather than just one or two treats.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #4 Don't worry about buying or bringing a trick-or-treat bag, when you enter the gates at Magic Kingdom to the party you will be given a bag, while its on the smaller side, it holds quite a bit!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #5 There are a couple of ghouls by a trick or treating station at the Liberty Square Riverboat, that are very impressive!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #6 There are ghouls out in front of the Haunted Mansion that love to tease.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #7 During the Party there is free Face Painting
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #8 Stick around after the Villains show, the characters will come down for a Meet and Greet. A great opportunity to meet rare characters.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #9 Get ready for the Parade at least 15 minutes ahead of Parade start-time. The Headless Horseman will gallop down the parade route
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tip #10 If there is a character Meet and Greet that you MUST do, make sure that you line-up where they will be appearing before 7:00pm.
Cinderella's Coach will be next to "Its a Small World", and if you would like a picture here, you must get there early.

I live an hour from the MK, so tip #1 will be something I can take care off in a pinch! Will go to MNSSHP on 10/12 as a grunge!
Love the tips! Definitely take a rest during the day before hitting the party. The first time we went I made the mistake of thinking we could go to the parks during the day and rest a bit before the party. My feet were killing me by the end of the night and we were all crabby. Another thing to note is that not all the restaurants will be open the entire night, so make sure you get dinner before they close up. Main Street Bakery remains opened until park closing so you can always get a bite to eat there. This is such a fun party--I highly recommend it! Great tips Amanda!! Thanks!
Great info! Sounds like a fun time.
