I have a decent-sized desk on which i place my PC, and I hardly ever run out of space thanks to its size, the reason being why I do not really pay attention to wireless mice, although I always get in to check out any electronics sales at the local marketplace. I found the Microsoft 6000 Wireless mouse at just such a sale at my local electronics shop, although I have been using a common optical wired mouse for a long time. The price tag of the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse was the sole criterion based on which I decided to buy it. This device cost so much less than many of its peers of the same configuration and design.

This wireless Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse is so easy and convenient to simply plug into the computer, and forget its receiver in the USB port at the back of the PC. I was successful in the installation of this mouse at the first attempt, though there was no time to take a look at an instruction manual, and more over there was no instruction manual that came with the device. The installation disc for the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse made it very clean and clear throughout. The only bug I found with the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse, was that it would respond a little slower when the transmitter was placed a little high on the cabinet. Then placing the receiver on the desk itself made it faster to respond.

The standard features that the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse is accompanied with, are the dual buttons for left and right clicks, plus the scroll wheel which can be pressed for a software scroller, that can be used to scroll sideways also. The scroll button also adds the feature of changing active windows.

The additionally features, like the little keys next to the left click button act as an aid to open a magnification tool, which will magnify the area confined within the screen selection made by a mouse drag. The other key can be used as an alternative to the back button. I find the back button right on the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse to be a very convenient feature for web browsing.

The Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse is textured well, and feels better than many older versions. My left handedness was not much of a problem, because the click buttons were interchangeable, and did not also interfere with its usage by other right-handed people. Overall, my satisfaction with the The Microsoft 6000 Wireless Mouse is optimum, it performs better, and does not freeze like other USB mice do sometimes.
