Microsoft Vs. Apple - Will Apple Win the Race?

Microsoft Vs. Apple - Will Apple Win the Race? Microsoft has steadily worked its way up for about a two decade period now. However, it wasn't until Apple came along that Microsoft had any competition. Apple, while not necessarily being at the top of the retail list, is still one of the most desired Operating Systems producers on the market. Constantly, people talk about their new Ipods, or their freshly bought Imacs. Even as the world still has a great deal of attention on the Microsoft Windows market, it won't be long before the attention is turned on Apple indefinitely.

Now, one of biggest reasons as to why Apple isn't a bigger seller than Microsoft is because of the level of integration that Microsoft has bought into. Windows is popular enough now that most P.C's bought today come standard with Windows already installed. This hurts Apple because of the extensive price ranges that they've set. So, as more and more individuals are conversing about when they will get their next Mac, or Ipod, or Mac Book; Microsoft will have sold another million systems.

The truth is that the general public has placed Apple on a higher pedestal than Microsoft. The problem is that the prices for Apple products are just too high. Even still, it would be foolish to say that the prices are not justified. Because of Microsofts incredibly high sell rate, Apple can legitimate sell their products at high prices in order to catch up with Microsofts rate of revenue.

What's even more interesting is that Apple has a much higher reliability rating. Which is one reason as to why Apple is so greatly desired. However, buyers also have to take-in another piece of valuable information when considering a P.C versus a Mac Operating System, and that is the purpose of the buy. Very few of the most well known products that Windows distributes are accessible to Mac users. This is, again, another advantage that works in Microsofts favor. Because Microsoft beat Apple to the punch, there where just more and more software packages that where integrated into the Windows systems that just won't work within the Apple systems.

But the dedicated individuals that work for the Apple team have begun a new wave in the advancement of computer technology. Recently, Apple has begun releasing software packages that where made to rival certain Windows software packages. Not just basic web-browsers or word processes programs, but high-end software as well. And in order to be sure that the dedicated Apple fans out there knew that those products that where built by the Apple team, most of those packages are label with the infamous Adobe name as the prefix of the label. However, in the same light, Microsoft has needed to do the same in order to catch back up with the Apple team. Each year, it would seem that Apple has taken a greater step in building a rising fan base; and in truth, when it is that Apple starts taking the leap to lowering their prices, more and more people will start making the jump the Mac systems.
