Put in a microwave proof 4 cup (one litre) measuring cup:
2/3 cup cocoa
1 1/8 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup cocoa
1 1/8 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
Whisk until smooth.
Cover and place in microwave. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
Add:
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, cut up in pieces
Whisk until mixed.
Return to microwave. Bring to boil.
Whisk.
Stir in:
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
