The first recipe is for Peanut Brittle. This is a very fast and simple recipe. It can be done in no time. It is also very easy clean-up.
What You Will Need
1 ½ cups unsalted peanuts
¾ cup Karo syrup (white)
1 ½ cups sugar
1 /2 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. butter
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
How to Make
- Take your peanuts, sugar, karo syrup, and salt and mix them together. Place them in a microwaveable container. Cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Next, you are going to add your butter and vanilla. You will cook this for about another 4 minutes. (your peanuts should be lightly brown)
- Last you are going to stir in your baking soda. It will look a little bubbly. Don't worry.
- Pour your mixture onto a cookie sheet. The cookie sheet does not have to be greased. There is enough butter in the mixture.
- Let the mixture cool. Once it is cool, then you can crack it into bite-size pieces
The next recipe that I would like to share with you is Peanut-Butter Fudge. This recipe is very yummy and makes lots and lots.

¼ cup butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk

- Mix all of your ingredients together. Place them in a microwaveable safe container.
- Microwave on a low setting just until your chocolate is melted. Mix your peanut and chocolate chips together again. (this will make sure that the mixture turns creamy)
- Pour your mixture onto a cookie sheet and let cool. You can place it in the refrigerator if you would like.
What You Will Need
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
1 tbsp. corn syrup (dark)
1/2 tsp.vanilla
2 tbsp. water
1 cup chocolate chips
½ cup walnuts
How to Make
- Mix all of your ingredients except the chocolate chips, vanilla, and walnuts in a bowl. Place them in a microwaveable safe container.
- Microwave the mixture on high for about 4 minutes. Stir.
- Place it back into the microwave and cook for another 6-8 minutes. You will want to check on it about every 2 minutes. Stir it around.
- Take it from the microwave and add your vanilla. Stir again.
- Pour onto a cookie sheet. While the mixture is still hot you will want to top it with the chocolate chips and walnuts.
I love making and giving candy as gifts for the holidays. It is a great way to tell people that you really care. It is also something that is fun to do. People are going to love this as a gift. Why not give the recipe to them on a little card. Attach it to your package. They will brag about your gift to everyone.
