The 2007 Mid-South Fair takes place Sept. 21 through 30. Located at the Memphis Fairgrounds in Memphis, Tennessee, this year's fair promises to be great fun for the entire family. In this article, you will find a description of events, attractions and activities that are scheduled to take place.

At this year's Mid-South fair, you will be able to attend the Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show. The dogs featured in the show will prove to entertain the family, amusing adults and children alike with jumps, leaps, spins and more. Mid-South goers can participate in Sebuani's Funky Figures and produce their own interactive DVD. No dancing talent is needed to participate - all you will need to learn is cheoregraphed head bobbing! Come see what that is all about!
There will be lots of cars to view at this year's Mid-South fair. a Muscle car show will be present, featuring muscle cars of all kinds. The Jeep mobile tour will feature the entire Jeep line via trailers. Also included in the Jeep mobile tour is simulated driving and a rock climbing wall.

The Oscar Mayer Wiener-mobile will make an appearance at the Mid-South Fair this year as well to hear fair-goers sing the Oscar Mayer jingle. Another fun activity that will take place 9/28 - 9/30 is the Krystal hamburger eating contest. How many burgers can you eat? Winners will advance with a shot to go to the finals!

A mechanical bull will also be present at the Mid-South fair, so get ready for a ride!
Retiles of the World is an exhibit that will be featured. Spectators can come out and see these exotic repitles in a safe environment. Also at the fair will be a circus with appearances by the Giant Snake, the Giant Rat and the headless woman.
Also at the fair will be a plethora of rides including rides such as : the Crazy Mouse rollercoaster, the fireball, the re-mix, the giant wheel, the tilt a whirl, the wacky worm, the carousel, the rockin'g tug, etc.

9/23 - Michael and Regina Winans
9/24 - Gary Allan
9/25 - Sugarhill Gang
9/26 - The Village People
9/27 - Omarion
9/28 - Melina Almodovar
9/29 - Ingram Hill
9/30 - Ashford and Simpson

All of the above concerts begin at 8 PM and are included in the price of fair admission, which is $5 per person for ages 6 and older. Children under 5 are free.
With the entertainment lined up and all of the attractions planned, this year'sMid-South fair will be fun for the entire family!

    I would like to know more about Senior Day independently and from the Lewis Center. I can not find it at www.midsouthfair.org or any google submenues. I checked three pages, the Flyer etc.

    Are there half-day or afternoon activities or rest places for seniors with limited stamana? Do you have tot ake the van at eight A.M.? When is the return? Please reply.
