Mid Valley Auto Center Cares for Your Car

They Take Care of Vehicle and Treat You Right, Too

Out here in the desert, it is especially important to have good-running transportation, because the sun is relentless and temperatures of 120 degrees Fahrenheit are not unusual. That is why we trust Mid Valley Auto Center with our car.

Our vehicle has well over 100,000 miles on it and has had quite a few parts rebuilt, but we love it like a member of the family and have no intention to buy a new car. Conveniently for us, one of the best garages in Northwest Arizona is right across the street. The owner is Corky, and he must be great to work for because there doesn't seem to be any turnover in the staff. One of the most amazing things about Corky and his staff is that they won't let us cross Highway 95 on foot. No, each time we get work done, they graciously offer us a ride both to and from even though our home is just a few yards away. If and when the promised stop light ever goes in at the corner, we may tell them "No, thank you," but with all the Laughlin visitors tooling into town our little road gets a lot of traffic, so that gesture is really appreciated. Mid Valley Auto Center is located at 1940 Highway 95 in Bullhead City, Arizona. If their tow truck is out front, you are in for a treat, because it is Mohave County's finest. Check out the photo! Yes, they have AAA 24-hour emergency services.

Do you know how some shops buy the most expensive parts available and then mark them up? Tim, the service manager, shops around for us and gets good parts at a good price. If there is a way he can get good work done and still give the customer a break, he will.

Another thing I like about Corky's is the shop's decor. It isn't fancy, but you don't stand around getting ignored either. If you do have to wait a few minutes while they finish something up, that is a treat because it gives you a chance to inspect the model car collection hanging on the office wall. Some of those replicas are humdingers.

Corky's motto is "The Good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do Good anyway." He says he got it from Mother Teresa. I think it is just the way he is.
