Mid-Season Spoiler Alert: House, M.D. Comes Back in January

Season Four Spoilers

nd
House, M.D. folks are on hiatus until January but that doesn't mean people have stopped talking about the fourth season of our favorite medical drama. Let me ask you this - is it me, or has this show been a bit unusual and even disappointing to a certain degree? I miss the personal-life aspects of House as well as Chase and Cameron, Foreman, Wilson and Cuddy.

This season's focus has been placed on House's new team. We haven't seen much of Chase and Cameron; we know they are still gainfully employed, but what is happening with their romance? Foreman is back, mainly because it seems that he couldn't keep/get a job anywhere else. Cuddy and Wilson are around as well, but their attention has shifted from House's personal life to his professional one. The cases have been nothing short of superb, however, and House is still in his element at manipulating every situation to get his way. So, what can we look forward to when the show returns in January?

Well, I have some bad news. Due to the well-publicized writers' strike, House's much-anticipated two-part episode slated to air after the Super Bowl has been replaced with a repeat of a mid-January regular episode guest starring Mira Sorvino. That is a total bummer. TV Guide's Ausiello Report tells us that this two-parter would have focused on Cuddy. Was there going to be a hook up? We won't know any time soon. Total bummer!

But to kick off the good stuff coming up - we haven't seen the last of Cutthroat Bitch. Anne Dudek will return to the show in January, although not for the first episode. Everyone is being very hush-hush about her role when she returns; it's unlikely that she will report to House.

Yes, Chase and Cameron will be back. The whole team will be back in place by end of season. We have already seen some signs of Cameron's disappointment in not working for House. And while Chase is doing well professionally, he misses the drama that accompanies the House team (note that he was taking bets on which candidate was going to be voted off next). The two will be back, we know this much. However, it is uncertain what situation will bring this about and what the transition will look like. Some rumors on the net imply that House and Foreman will each have their own team; this allows for both the return of Chase and Cameron and the three new folks to stick around long term. Wouldn't you just love to see House and Foreman in their best competitive spirit?

That's all of the mid-season House, M.D. spoilers for now. Check out my content page for spoiler alerts on other popular shows.
