The 6th annual Mid-South Baby Expo returns to Memphis on March 29th. There are tons of exhibitors and shows for mommies and soon-to-be mommies! Read on to find out all of the details.

The Mid-South Baby Expo is set to take place on March 29th at the Memphis Agricenter. the Memphis Agricenter is at 7777 Walnut Grove Road in Memphis, Tennessee, which is at the corner of walnut Grove Rd and Germantown Road. The Mid-South Baby Expo hours will be from 9 am to 3 pm. Admission to the Mid-South Baby expo is $7 per person, and children that are under 12 are admitted free of charge. This year, $2 of every ticket sold will go to the Shelby County Infant Mortality Initiative to help fight Infant Mortality.

The purpose of the Mid-South Baby Expo is to provide new and expectant mothers with educational resources to help with their infants. The educational information will be in the form of booths, exhibits and shows. There is a wealth of information that is out there, which is available to new and expectant mothers. the Mid-South Baby Expo strives to get this information in the hands of mommies and mommies to be that will be able to use it to make healthier decisions for themselves and their families.

There are several activities that will take place at the Mid-South Baby Expo. There will be two fashion shows - a maternity fashion show, and a baby fashion show. The baby fashion show will take place at 11 am at the main stage, and the maternity fashion show will take place at 2:15 PM at the main stage. At noon, there will be a seminar presented on the main stage that discusses the advantages of breastfeeding. Directly following this seminar, at 1 pm, will be a seminar entitled Baby's First Year. At 2 pm, Shelby county mayor AC Wharton will take the main stage to give his remarks and comments. Mayor Wharton will also conduct a grand prize drawing, which has not been announced at this time! At 2:50 pm, on the main stage, will be final comments and drawings for other door prizes.

Other activities that will be going on at the Mid-South Baby Expo include games, demonstrations and food. There will be games for family members to participate in and win prizes from. The three demonstrations include Infant Safety, Kindermusik and Stroller Strides. the Infant Safety demonstration is sponsored by the Mid-South Safe Kids Coalition and will give information to families on safety for the car and for the home. The Kindermusik demonstration will provide music and dance for children aged infant and up. Stroller Strides is a demonstration that will provide exercise techniques for mommies and babies. Now here is something wonderful - there will be free pickles for all expectant mothers! That right there is reason enough to attend! There will also be food and drink available for sale in the food court catered by McAllister's Deli and Corky's BBQ.
