I think that's what's so appealing about those infomercials we all love to hate. Mighty FixIt seems to be nothing more than glorified duct tape but it's a lot more than that. It does what we would all hope our duct tape would do whenever we are faced with a minor home emergency.
So Mighty Fixit isn't really type, it's some type of silicone stretchy material that will fix and repair cracks and leaks. It works whether something is wet, dry, hot or cold. And even crazier, there is no adhesive. Mighty Fixit isn't even sticky.
Here's how it works. If you have a frayed power cord, leak in a pipe or crack in a hose, you just stretch and wrap mighty fix it around the problem area. You have to make you wrap it tightly and there's enough to wrap around over itself a few times. The silicone fuses to itself and creates and air tight and water tight seal.
Even though you wouldn't expect Mighty Fixit to provide a permanent repair, you'll be surprised how long it will actually last. I have a leak in the hose which delivers washer fluid to my windshield for cleaning. It was expensive to replace so I went without for a couple of years. When I got my Mighty Fixit, I followed the instructions and it's worked ever since. I imagine the area must take on a little water and possibly get heated because it's under the hood of my car but as far as I can tell the leak is gone.
If you read other reviews, you'll learn about all types of things people are using Mighty Fixit for and they all seem to work as long as you are able to wrap it around the problem area. I read that someone could not stop the leak in their air mattress because it was flat and there was the Mighty Fixit wasn't able to wrap around and fuse to itself. So keep that in mind when you look to buy this latest miracle gadget.
I think Mighty Fixit is a winner (for now) and the as seen on TV people have a real hit on their hands. I mean all of us have masking tape and duct tape somewhere in the house so why not mighty fixit? We'll see how things pan out but I expect to see this stuff everywhere.

why can't you people check your spelling and grammar? These articles seem to be written by second graders.
