The Sacramento area may not be as big as others parts of the state like the Bay Area or Southern California but it still has a good number of places to eat. The location might be one reason that Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar is not as well known after all Fair Oaks is not known for its sushi. Since Fair Oaks is not well known for its sushi that means Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar is easily the best sushi in town. It is possible that Fair Oaks does not have the kind of people to afford or be interested in sushi and no locals visiting might be hard to brign in outsiders to Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar. Trying to figure out why Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar is not as popular as other local sushi bars though is not as important as the many reasons that it should be.

They offer more then just sushi or a bar since they also offer other Japanese cuisine as well. Like most sushi bars there are some house specialties and you have to love the names if you are an area local. If you live in Rancho Cordova for instance you are going to have to order the Rancho Cordova at least once. The rolls here are great and they take their sushi seriously unlike some places. For instance instead of getting fake crab meat you are getting real crab meat here. Of course you do have to pay for the real crab meat but it is worth it and there are some places that would charge you as much and give you the fake stuff.

As I mentioned earlier Mikuni Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar has lots more then just sushi. Some great alternatives to sushi include tuna, salmon, oysters, and flaming shrooms to name just a few of the other Japanese food choices available.
