Mila Kunis is a foreign born young actress, who has braced her career on both television and film. She is probably most known for her long run on the hit television show "That 70's Show", where she played Jackie. Her love interest on the show was none other than Ashon Kutcher who also was on the show until it stopped airing. Though no longer producing new episodes the show is still in syndication on some networks.
Mila Kunis has taken up a promising acting career and has been in some notable films. She starred alongside Denzel Washington, and Gary Oldman in "Book of Eli", where she played the daughter of a blind woman who is practically enslaved by Gary Oldman's character in a post apocalyptic world. In this time, in the movie, money means nothing and water means everything. She also more recently starred alongside Natalie Portman as a ballet dancer in the Academy Award nominated film "Black Swan". Natalie Portman would eventually win a "Best Actress" award for her perfomance in the film. Though she didn't win an Academy Award she was recognized for her work in Black Swan. Mila was awarded in 2010 the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor or Actress for her role as "Lily" in Black Swan at the 67th Annual Venice International Film Festival. She also was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her work in that movie. If you have heard Mila Kunis' voice before you may recognize her as the voice of "Meg" on the animated show
"Family Guy."
Mila in orginally from Ukraine, is Jewish, and came here early in her life in 1991. Kunis cited one of the reasons that her family left the then Soviet Union was due to a strong sense of antisemitism. Mila's childhood in this country was rough as she began attending school here. Less then 72 hours after being on American soil, she was enrolled into school not speaking a word of English. She would finish most of her high school teachings on the set of "That 70's Show" with the help of a private tutor.
Mila recently was one of the presenters at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. Her and Justin Timberlake presented Robert Pattinson with the Best Male Performance for his work on "Twilight". The two shared a light groping session on stage at the event. They groped each other after joking about their "friendly"
relationship. The two recently starred together in "Friends With Benefits" where they played sexually active friends. They were rumored to have gotten close on the set of the movie. They have since quelled any rumors that they are romantically involved and insist they have a totally platonic relationship.
