This recipe was not handed down to me, I did not find it on the Food Network and I did not steal it from a restaurant. It's my own recipe I created based on eating tacos all over Denver.

1 8 oz can Green chiles
1 packet Taco seasoning
1 can Small pineapple chunks
1 pack Soft corn taco tortillas
1 large Sliced avocado
1 cup Chopped cilantro
Directions for Mile High Tacos
3
Add taco seasoning
Once the chicken is cooked, add in the taco seasoning -- no need to add water, like the taco seasoning package will tell you to.4
Add green chiles
Once chicken and onions are fried up, add in the green chiles and mix together.5
Heat up tortillas
On an open flame on the stove-top or in a fry-pan, heat up the tortillas.6
Assemble tacos
Fill taco shell with chicken filling. Sprinkle cilantro on top, along with a handful of pineapple and one slice of avocado. Add hot sauce as you like - green Tobasco is recommended. (You may use two tortillas if you like - can prevent taco from falling apart.)Tip
You may flavor these in any additional way you like -- add jalapenos, use taco sauces or hot sauces (like Tapatio or green Tobasco sauce, which is what I recommend).
