Miley Cyrus in The Last Song
In The Last Song, she plays the role of Veronica "Ronnie" Miller from the Nicholas Sparks novel the film is based on. At 17, Ronnie witnessed her parents' marriage end, and her father moved away to Tybee Island in Georgia. Fast-forward 3 years, and Ronnie's still angry and distanced from her parents - especially her dad. When her mom decides she's going to spend the summer on Tybee Island with him, Ronnie isn't pleased. Over the summer, however, Ronnie learns a lot about life, first loves and the love between a parent and a child.
Miley's role in The Last Song is the next step in her career as she transitions from singer to actress. Even in her Hannah Montana days, her role focused on her as a singer. In The Last Song, we see Miley without the music, all grown up. This role is Miley's foot in the door in the acting world.
The Last Song also landed Miley a new boyfriend - costar Liam Helmsworth. After meeting on-set, the two started dating, and are still together.
As of right now, Miley is staying busy promoting The Last Song. She's been on Good Morning America (see the interview here on Hulu), American Idol (see her performance of 'When I Look At You' on IViewTube), the Today Show (the interview is here on YouTube), the View (her appearance is available for viewing on YouTube), The Tonight Show (see the appearance on NBC's site) and Ellen (the show airs on 3/31, but a few details are available on People). The movie is set to release on March 31, 2010.
After the release, Miley is back to touring, and is set to perform at Rock in Rio-Lisbon (5/29) and Rock in Rio-Madrid (6/6).

Post a CommentI think this movie was a loving story. It made me cry but somehow I can relate too it. And I think miley cyrus is very lucky too have Liam . I actually find him very good looking. and there eyes are like sparkly so I know they should be together. I wanna get posters if people start too make them of the last song. Well , To end this I thought this was the best movie.
And I can't wait too buy it when it comes out on dvd.
