Miley Cyrus to Mentor on American Idol - You Have Got to Be Kidding
Young Bubble Gum Pop Star Miley Cyrus to Guide the Idol Guys and Gals
Yes Miley Cyrus has had four number one albums in about the last three years, and yes Miley Cyrus is the youngest musical artist ever to have multi-platinum albums. I know that she is talented for some audiences. But is she talented enough with the experience to be able to mentor the American Idol guys and gals in their song choice and style? I remain doubtful and dumbfounded on this American Idol choice.
Little Miley Cyrus also just happens, shock of shock, has a movie opening next week! That's right there is a movie, "The Last Song", which opens in theaters March 31st. In typical bubble-gum fashion, evidently Miley irritates her Mom - gets sent to Dad in small town - falls in love with local gorgeous guy and finds the meaning of life. Can't you just see Ryan Seacrest asking Miley about this movie at least six or seven times during the American Idol episode right now?
Let us not forget that Miley cannot just sing, pole dance in spimy outfit and act, there is more. Seems Miley Cyrus is also an author. Her book is "Miles To Go" and is a best-seller. Would a book from Miley Cyrus be any other way?
So how do we see this interesting scenario playing out on American Idol? Is Miley really going to influence the musical selection of Crystal Bowersox or Lee Dewyze on American Idol. Miley is like a little sister that will just become annoying after a while and you simply don't want her around anymore. And do you think that she will just drool all over Casey James and maybe even flirt a little with him? And if she does will Kara get jealous and we will see her cougar claws on American Idol?
Well it should make for another fairly boring night of American Idol. I am still missing the excitement of Adam Lambert on American Idol and Miley Cyrus being a American Idol mentor is certainly doing nothing to make me get excited about tomorrow night's episode. Maybe if Miley were going to do another little pole dancing routine on an ice cream cart that might help a little. Nah, that just makes my brain hurt.

She has learned to focus the sound behind her teeth on her hard palate, while lifting her soft palate in the back giving her more projection, range, and a softer, warmer sound color resonation. Her tours helped a lot with strengthening her singing chops, which she has. Ask any vocal coach. Unless she's sick, in which case she sometimes goes flat, she otherwise sings everything completely on pitch. This development plus her endearing stage presence establishes her credibility for giving advice. No reason to falsely accuse her of having zero talent.
That promoter would be her "momager" Tish. Yes, this whole week is to promote the movie the last song. Do you think it's coincidence that she also appeared in Parade Magazine, the view, GMA, and Jay Leno? American Idol is one of the most watched shows, of course she's going to book that plug. This girl's mom is really smart about boosting her daughter's career. This future "break" from music I'm sure Tish advised to get more adult movies under Miley's belt for her resume, while building up a nonpop music portfolio to be released later. This way she can abandon the poppy image and show her musical talent with songs that music snobs like yourself won't be embarassed to admit you listen to, even if you already bob your head to the catchy Party in the USA. She has other songs like "Simple Song" and "Four Walls" which are much more up your alley stylewise. If you aren't used to hearing her live, the scratchiness in her vocal tone can sound jarring because it doesn't come through in her reco
You forgot to mention she had 2 sold out concert tours where according to most reviews, she commanded the stage like a seasoned pro. Perhaps that is why she is a mentor.

I think Miley Cyrus is really quite sweet, but I am not quite sure that she will cut it as a mentor. :S
i dont know who you are lady or who you think you are but shut up about miley cyrus she is a very talented young girl who i look up too for that matter because of you thats why shes leaving showbiz so congrations you made a celebritey you and the others paperiza should be ashamed of your selfs pushing around a beatiful young talent girl trying to pursade her dreams while you shove her around i would love to be her a talent young beatiful girl chasing after those amazing dreams that she has!!!
