Miley Cyrus Says "Good Morning America" While Promoting Her New Movie "The Last Song"

Being interviewed by Robin Roberts, the "Hannah Montana" hottie made the stop to promote her upcoming movie, "The Last Song," which hits theaters on March 31.

Talking about working alongside her real-life beau, Liam Hemsworth, Miss Cyrus told, "It was really good [working with Liam], because it makes you want to come to work and ... look good. I'm trying to make people see my work as a real actress and more mature. And when you have someone who loves you and wants you to do well, you really want to help each other, and you want to make each other look good. We both were trying to get our point across [that] we can do more than [what people know us as]."

Also talking about her movie dad, Greg Kinnear, Miley gushed, "He is very laid-back, but he's really funny. Mostly, he plays deeper darker roles, and he's so hilarious. ... So many times I felt like I was back on the ['Hannah Montana'] set with my dad."

In related news, Miley told press that while she loves the success her career has afforded her, she's no fan of being treated like a commodity.

"I hate being thought of as a product. It's my biggest pet peeve. I am not a doll, and people want to treat me that way. They say, 'Now this is what we need to do to your make-up, and this is what I want you to wear,' and I'm like, 'Dude, I choose.'''
