Miley Cyrus Tattoo: Why "Just Breathe"? was Miley Cyrus' Tattoo Once "Justin"?

Perez Hilton recently posted pictures on his website of Miley Cyrus sporting a tattoo that supposedly says "Just Breathe". The Miley Cyrus tattoo has created quite a stir, considering the fact that she's only 17, and you have to be 18 to get a tattoo (although she may have been able to use her star power to get one on her own, or she could have begged daddy Billy Ray to give her parental permission). It's unknown whether or not the tattoo really says "Just Breathe" or if it is indeed permanent, but it's very odd that just a few months ago websites were reporting that Miley Cyrus wanted to get a tattoo with the initials of her ex, Justin Gaston, and was trying to convince her parents to let her do so. There's no definitive proof of whether or not this story is true, but it could have something to do with the "Just Breathe" choice.

If Miley Cyrus opted to get a tattoo of just Justin's name, when the two of them called it quits, she would obviously want to get rid of it. And since tattoo removal is such a long and drawn-out process, she may have opted to only get part of it removed and have Justin's named transformed into the words "Just Breathe". Then again, there's the possibility that she's just a big Faith Hill fan, and her hit song "Just Breathe" has some deep, personal meaning to Miley Cyrus. Or perhaps Miley Cyrus is just extremely narcissistic and feels that she must remind fans not to hyperventilate when they spot her sporting a bikini in public.

If she did indeed have a Justin tattoo, it's a shame that Miley Cyrus doesn't use Twitter anymore to tell her fans about her terrible tattoo error, because it would have been a great lesson for other teen girls begging their parents to let them get tattoos. And regardless of the reason for the "Just Breathe" tattoo and whether or not it's real, parents of fans of the teen queen are again having to feel frustrated with her for doing something she's not supposed to be old enough to be doing, and it's rather disturbing that an underage girl would be flaunting a tattoo in such a personal place.

So will we ever learn the truth behind Miley Cyrus' tattoo? Maybe one day when she's a little older and publishes her second memoir, and by then I'm sure a tattoo will be the least of the controversies surrounding this teen star.
