Well written Deepak1 But,still we vegetarians do rely on milk products as the main source of protein .Well, it becomes a case of 'self before others' I guess.

Heather, you are right, cow is considered scared in India, yet cows are milked for milk because cow's milk is considered far far better than any other milk.
Interesting thoughts. I've seen that the cow is considered sacred by many in India.
This is a touching saga of our lives. We are so helpless at times, its like catch 22 situation. Thanks Deepak for putting forth an excellent thought. Very swell thought , well expressed.
