In Kiev, Ukraine on December 17, 1975 Milla Natahsa Jovovich. Her father physician Bogdanovitch (Bogie) Jovovich, and her mother actress Gallina Loginova had Milla who was an only child. Their Russian home was where Milla spent most of her childhood. Through the first 5 years of Milla's life though, was spent traveling back and forth from Russia to her father's medical studies in London.

Thus, Milla's father tried, he finally came to realize that his medical practice was no longer growing in the Russian economy. So they moved to the United States where their family began to love Sacramento, California. In the era of the Cold war, Milla was a "commie" So during her childhood in the United States, children always antagonized her about it.

Even as a child she was made fun of she claimed to be above it and at age 11 she proved it when she began her acting career. In 1988, her first movie was released and it was called, "Two Moon Junction". Milla soared higher and higher after that. She dived into the career as a model and at only age 11, she stunned the world to be able to see such a beautiful fashion model. As she grew up, her career grew even bigger.

Milla had done the acting and the modeling but she craved something more and leaned toward music. She released her first album "The Divine Comedy", when she was 18. Though many critics thought this would not be her best talent they were very surprised to find it full of eclectic music and instruments from around the world. It was very pleasurable for music lovers everywhere.

The acting career called her back in 1997 once again to play The Fifth Element's," Leeloo", which also stared hot actor Bruce Willis. Then the world was exposed to the talented actress that she is. Milla and Luc (the director of Fifth Element) were said to have a love affair while the movie was being filmed.

Later, it was found that the stories were true and in December 1997, Luc and Milla were married. Her next role was with Denzel Washington, in Spike Lee's, "He Got Game". In November 1998, Milla will star in Luc Besson's "Joan of Arc". She began performing back onstage in 1999. There is also talk about her second music album being released "The People tree Sessions". In December 1999 Milla turns 24.
