Milton Bradley, Kosuke Fukudome and Ryan Ludwick: Top 3 National League Fantasy Baseball Players to Drop

B J Abel
With almost half of the Fantasy Baseball season over, hanging on to one of your top Fantasy Baseball picks just to save face in your league can almost guarantee a lost season. Ignoring where you drafted a player and looking at your team with a clean perspective is essential. We have enough games behind our belt this season to help us make some tough decisions in our Fantasy Baseball Leagues. Here is a list of the top three players that have been a bust off of their expectations and should be dropped in all formats of Fantasy Baseball.

Milton Bradley (CHC) - Milton Bradley came to Chicago with a lot of promise. A team hit first team that was supposed to explode with offense if you break down their lineup. Well, we are halfway through and that explosion never happened. Fantasy Baseball owners drafted Bradley very high on the outfielder list and he has performed at the bottom. Surrounded my Derrek Lee, Aramis Ramirez, amongst others he has not been consistent at all and with only 5 Home Runs and 16 RBI's he has completely under performed.

Kosuke Fukudome (CHC) - Kosuke Fukudome is another disappointment in the Cub's locker room. With the anemic play of his teammates Fukudome has followed suit and let down a large amount of Fantasy Baseball owners who had expected at least similar numbers from the previous break out year. Only 5 Home Runs and mid level average, we can only see these numbers trailing off even more on a team tumbling for any offense. With his team on the down turn Fukudome should be considered one to drop.

Ryan Ludwick (STL) - Ryan Ludwick has been hot and cold all season and is not in any position to repeat last years break out year for Fantasy Baseball owners. His numbers are not terrible but he has been benched on a regular basis by manager Tony Larussa that leads us to believe he knows something we don't. The ongoing battle for playing time in the St Louis outfield doesn't seem to be nearing an end which should give you means to drop Ludwick on your fantasy team.
