Milwaukee is the place to be this Christmas to see spectacular light shows and drive-through holiday displays. Bring your family and friends to these events for a guaranteed, fun-filled night. If these don't get you into the holiday spirit, nothing will!

Potawatomi Jingle Bus

Want to see Milwaukee's prettiest holiday scenes? For only $1 a person, the Potawatomi Jingle Bus will cruise through the city with a 40-minute narrated tour. Thursdays through Sundays starting on November 16th, the bus will leave the Official Warming City center at 509 West Wisconsin Avenue. Tours run from 6 to 9 pm. If you come in at Hilton's 6th street entrance to register, you will receive free hot chocolate, cookies, crayons and coloring books as you wait. Parking can be had in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center parking ramp for just $5.00 with your Jingle Bus stub ticket.

Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival

Head on downtown through January 7th to drive-through one of the most fantastic holiday light displays there is in the city. Well over 55 buildings participate annually in this event. The rooftop lighting project creates a spectacular light show as thousands of lights are lit on the skyline of Milwaukee. Three major parks also light up, including Cathedral Square, Pere Marquette, and Zeidler Union Square. Starting at 6pm on Thursday, November 15 at Pere Marquette Park, this night includes an extreme fire and ice show by Fear No Ice, skits by local arts groups, appearances from local celebrities, and more. To top of the evening, have your kids come to see Santa Claus himself! After all the rooftops are lit, enjoy the end of the night by watching a breath-taking fireworks show. You won't be disappointed in this holiday show!

Christmas in the Ward

The historic Third Ward of the city of Milwaukee kicks off their Christmas celebration with many lights and festivities. Check out the fireworks, watch as the tree-lighting ceremony transforms a plain tree to a gorgeous one, and go on an old-fashioned horse and buggy type carriage ride. Be sure to bring the kids to meet Santa Claus, get treats and candy, shop in the holiday-filled shops, and so much more. Listen to good old-fashioned Christmas music from the carolers in the street, and watch the street entertainers perform to the delight of the crowds. This annual event takes place in the 100 and 200 blocks of North Broadway in Milwaukee from Nov 30 2007 - Dec 1 2007. The tree-lighting happens on Friday. This is a Milwaukee event you won't want to miss!
