Mind Renewed
My mind on me
Depression my companion
Looking, searching
My escape from mental traction
Hearing about God
His message is love
All along, I've been seeking
For something from above
Spending time with You
Reading Your word
Having my mind renewed
Moving closer to my Lord
Changing my thinking
Changes my seeing
Perceptions of You
Are all I am seeking
My emotions in check
In Your presence I am still
On Your word I reflect
My spirit You fill
Grateful for You
And the principles You teach us
Oh, the price You paid
In order to reach us
Being a disciple
No longer a chore
Finding myself daily
Wanting to know more
Depressed no longer
My world not skewed
For Your will I hunger
With my mind renewed
