Minds Wide Open: A Haiku Quartet

Take a Chance. Look and See

David A. Reinstein, LCSW
With minds wide open,
Invisibility fades
Revealing something.

It might be welcome
Or shocking and quite painful.
Vision is a risk.

Those who choose blindness
Will never see through the veil
Woven by others.

Chance is worth taking
As the potential reward
Is a brave new self.

This is quite profound, David. Certainly, vision is a risk. I really enjoy your vision on this piece!
