Mini Golf in Springfield, PA 19064

S.B.
In Springfield, PA 19064 we have several great places to take the kids miniature golfing. I am going to review my three favorite locations so you can take your own kids.

The oldest and most well known place for miniature golf is "Putt Putt Golf and Games". It is located at Baltimore Ave Clifton Heights, PA 19018. The phone number is (610) 626-5766. It say to call for hours and specials. The course is simple and pretty basic, but they do their best to make mini golf affordable. I went there when I was a teenager and now I take my kids there. They are reasonably priced and even offer special packages for you to place multiple games for one low price. They have a small arcade and a snack bar. In the arcade, kids can earn tickets to redeem for small prizes. One of the nicest features about Putt Putt is the birthday party room. They can accommodate a large kid's birthday party.

Another great place to take the kids for mini golf is "City Line Sports Center." It's located at 7800 City Line Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19151. The phone number is (215) 879-3536. It's a further drive from Springfield than Putt Putt, but not that far. For us, it is about a 15 minute drive with traffic. City Line Sports center is a one stop shop. They have the miniature golf. They also have a snack bar and ice cream stand. They offer batting cages and a golf driving range. It's the perfect place for Dad to drive some golf balls, while the kids play mini golf. Older kids will really enjoy the batting cages. The batting cages accommodate both softball and baseball. The center also offers novice golf lessons while is a real plus.

The third place I suggest is Clayton Park. They have a website (http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/depts/clayton.html). They are located on Route 322 (Conchester Highway) between 1-95 and Route 1. Golf Course entrance is on 322. Their phone number is 610-459-4510. This is not a miniature golf course, but is not a full golf course. It is similar to a chip and putt. I listed it because I see many people take young children when they play. It's a public course and the price is right, about $9 for 9 holes or $11 for 18 holes. I suggest going very early in the day or late in the day on a weekend. The late mornings and early afternoons are very crowded. It is also very empty on a weekday which is nice.

I hope my article has given you some ideas of the choices you have if you want to take the kids out for some mini golf, or play a fun round yourself in Springfield, PA 19064.
