Miniature Golf Courses in the Pennsylvania, South Jersey Areas

Lucy Tonic
Whether you are looking for something fun to do with friends or want to take a loved one someplace unique, miniature golf courses are nostalgic and one-of-a-kind.

While many courses are located down the shore or by the beach, here are three courses that are located in the South Jersey and Pennsylvania areas.

So turn off the TV, and head to some of these course pronto!

1. Weber's Drive In

Located: 310 Crescent Boulevard, Brooklawn, NJ

Although Weber's is only open in the summer, Weber's drive-in is the perfect place to go miniature golfing with friends and family.

Customers have the choice to either golf first and then grab something to eat, or pull-in to get food and head back to the golf course afterwards. You can sit in your vehicle and have waitresses serve you your food, or you can hang out at the tables provided.

With décor and atmosphere similar to that of a 50s drive-in, it's no surprise they have food to match.

Weber's is renowned for their delicious, juicy burgers and tasty cheese fries, and their mugs of root beer floats are infamous in the area.

Golfing itself is inexpensive, and the course is fun but not long enough to where you'll be playing forever.

Overall, Weber's is perfect for a night out with family, friends, or a loved one, even if you're just there for the food. It's also only about 15 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia.

2. Hill Top Miniature Golf

Located: 880 North Easton Road, Glenside, PA

Hill Top Miniature Golf is a peaceful little place in the middle of Glenside that is open in the spring and summer.

It has been around for over 50 years, and for that reason the course may seem old-fashioned to some. However, it's also brings back that sense of nostalgia from a better time, and is great for getting your kids out of the house. It's also somewhat educational in a cultural sense.

Some of the scenery surrounding the holes includes a hula girl, the Sphinx, an igloo door that opens and closes, a kilted Scotsman, the Towers Bridge and a Canadian Mounty. Perhaps when taking little ones, you could explain some of the different cultures and people as you golf.

In walking distance there is also a Carvel's Ice Cream.

3. Gino's Golf and Paintball Center

Located: 669 Bridgeton Pike (Route 45), Mantua, NJ

Gino's Miniature Golf is an 18+ hole course that is great for family, friends and people all ages.

The course is open daily from 11AM-9PM in March and April, 11AM-10PM in May and August and from 10AM-9PM in September.

The course has available clubs for all different heights, and it costs $5 per player. If players get a hole-in-one on the 19th hole, they will win a pass for one free game at Gino's.

Besides golf, Gino's offers paintball, batting cages and a driving range. Owners ask that you call ahead before coming to make sure the course is open.
