You all have heard James Earl Jones and you know he has a voice that stands out in a crowd. Well, little Max is young and he assumed the voice was a put on. He thought that they used sound effects to give him those deep, rich tones. Max Page was impressed that the voice is truly a real voice!
Max Page didn't walk away empty-handed from their meeting. Jones gave him an autographed Vader helmet and they posed for photos together. The mini-Darth Vader has been on a tour of New York City and did over two dozen interviews for such shows as "Morning Joe", "Entertainment Tonight" and "Inside Hollywood". The boy is sure enjoying his 15 minutes of fame, and why not!
I normally use the remote to skip over commercials. I am very glad that I took a little time to watch this particular one. It brought a smile to my face. I am proud that I live in the area of Tennessee where the new Passat is being manufactured. VW picked Chattanooga for many reasons and their decision has laid the ground work for many other big organizations to move to the area as well. The opportunities are endless and that is a very good thing.
According to Max, he enjoys doing interviews and his goal is to be on Oprah. What people may not know is that Max Page was born with a congenital heart condition. He had surgery at 3 months of age and he has a pace maker. He obviously doesn't let his physical condition get in his way!
The commercial with the mini-Darth Vader is for the VW Passat. The Passat is being manufactured at their new facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The people of the Chattanooga area have been very excited about the new vehicle. It is close to their hearts and this little mini-Darth Vader has truly made the people of Tennessee smile along with the whole world!
