Minka Kelly may not have that much to her resume, but being named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive for 2010 definitely won't hurt her quest for work.

The "Friday Night Lights" actress sat down with Esquire to discuss her life, loves and her journey to fame. Kelly, 30, was raised by her exotic-dancer mother, which was more fun than embarrassing for the actress.

Kelly said, "It was all about what we could do to have fun with nothing. She would come home at like three, four o'clock in the morning, and she would wake me up in the middle of the night and we'd go grocery shopping. . .My mom lived a fast life."

Kelly, who is dating Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, shows her confidence in the article, detailing her ease with turning 30 and her belief in her craft.

"I didn't go to theater school. I didn't go to Juilliard. . .I've lived a lot at my young age. Hopefully people will see that I'm not just a 17-year-old cheerleader from 'Friday Night Lights.'"

Miley Cyrus Ruffles Feathers with "Who Owns My Heart?" Video

Oh Miley. Still bound and determined to shake your Disney image, aren't you?

The 17-year-old actress/singer released her latest music video, much to the chagrin of some of her ex-target audience's parents and of course, the PTC (Parents Television Council). "Who Owns My Heart?" features the former "Hannah Montana" star doing her thing, i.e. writhing in her underwear, then going to the club in a barely-there outfit and bumping and grinding with other club-goers.

Watch the video here.

While this is normal for other teen singers Miley's age, she just can't shake her squeaky-clean alter ego and those who loved her. Tim Winter, president of the PTC, told TMZ:

"Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fanbase so rapidly."

Sad or not, it's unlikely Miley will slow down her rush to adulthood any time soon.

Weddings, Weddings Weddings!

It was the weekend for weddings, as evidenced by the rush of reports of celebs tying the knot.

First off, "Brothers and Sisters" star Dave Annable married You Again actress Odette Yustman. The bride, wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown, walked down the aisle to "All You Need is Love" by The Beatles.

Ready for this one to make you feel old? Spy Kids star Alexa Vega, 22, married longtime boyfriend Sean Covel, 34. The couple were married at the Homestake House in Lead, South Dakota, with Vega wearing an Ian Stewart wedding gown.

Finally, "American Idol" runner-up Crystal Bowersox tied the knot with her friend of six years Brian Walker in Chicago. Walker, who is also a musician, proposed to Bowersox a mere four months after the songstress split up with her child's father.

All the weddings took place on Sunday, 10/10/2010. Congratulations to all the couples!
