"The Convincer," which was filmed in Minneapolis, Minn. in 2010, was chosen to have its World Premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in the out-of-competition Premiere section during the Festival's January 20-30, 2011 film screenings .

The cast features Greg Kinnear as the insurance salesman, Alan Arkin as the owner of a rare violin, and Billy Crudup, David Harbour and Michelle Arthur.

A trailer of the film has not been released. However, there are three short film clips that may be viewed that give some feel for the tone of the movie.

The clips are entitled: "Heirloom," "My Van," and "Violin." Please note that the clip "My Van" has adult language.

As soon as a trailer is released, I'll post a link to it.

Been looking for a good drama to come out. Not that I don't enjoy fantasy/sci-fi, but those kinds of movies are going to be numerous and a good drama just has to be in there, lol.
