Owned by Pete and Jill Houck, the Houck Horse Company holds several different barrel racing clinics and events throughout the course of a year. Events like the MBRA Open Jackpot Fundraiser are official sponsored and sanctioned by the Minnesota Barrel Racers Association, while independently hosted events offer various cash awards as well. Regular barrel racing clinics are also held here, with lessons available for beginner and veteran barrel racers.

With a strict limit of only 15 riders, the Troy Crumrine Barrel Racing Clinic has been held annually since 1989. Hosted by world championship barrel racer Troy Crumrine himself at the Red Horse Ranch Arena, the Troy Crumrine Barrel Racing Clinic is a two-day event for both beginners and veterans alike. The Troy Crumrine Barrel Racing Clinic is sanctioned by the United Barrel Racing Association (UBRA).

The weekend-long event features races for all ages, with various cash prizes awarded to top finishers. There are also various exhibitions and even a special church service held on Sunday morning at the event.
