Miracles with Only 15 Minutes a Day

Mario V. Farina
Everyone has a book within them. The shame of it all is that most of these books will never be written and, therefore, never be seen.

You can write your book by spending only 15 minutes a day on the project for the next 365 days. You can work a miracle within coming year with only 15 minutes a day. Here are the mathematics of what I'm saying:

In 15 minutes, using a word processor, you should be able to contribute, at least, 100 words a day to your book. Let us use the 100 words figure. Start doing this today!

Don't worry about an outline, write whatever part of your book interests you most. It could be the front, middle, or back, it does not matter. The objective is to write 100 words of your book today and every day that follows for 299 more days. You can organize what you've written later.

At the end of ten days, you will have written 1,000 words. This may be the first time you're ever accomplished anything like this. If so, congratulations but you're not done.

Keep writing. At the end of 300 days, you will have written 30,000 words. Have you finished expressing your thoughts? If so, you can begin the organizing; if not, continue writing. Let us say you have finished the book. It may be only a first draft, but you've finished.

Thirty-thousand words amounts to about 120 pages. That's a decent size for a book.

Now, in order to complete the job, you need to organize what you've done. You have two months to do this. Rearrange the material and edit the book to correct misspellings and grammatical errors. Don't worry about being perfect. This is your first book. And, you are not an Ernest Hemingway.

Now publish. Use the Internet to find a publisher that will agree to publish your book at a reasonable cost. Yes, there is a cost but it's reasonable and worth it!

This is your first book! You have actually written a real book! You are an author! It's up to you now to try to sell copies. It may sell well and make you famous. It may not sell even one copy. If so, don't be concerned. This is your book. It will outlive you. You will have left your mark on the world.
