Miranda Kerr Gives Birth to Baby Boy; Fellow Victoria's Secret Model Petra Nemcova Engaged

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom recently welcomed a baby boy, while fellow Victoria's Secret Model Petra Nemcova also got engaged to an actor.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom's baby boy is definitely going to be quite the looker, but there's no word on what Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom will name the little guy yet.

Miranda Kerr's pregnancy has seemingly helped keep Orlando Bloom in the spotlight following a bit of a spotty career since he abandoned the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ship after three movies in 2007 (such a shame, too. Jack Sparrow would certainly be an interesting name for his baby boy). However, he seems to be on the comeback track with 2011 movies "The Good Doctor" and "The Three Musketeers", in which he will be playing the Duke of Buckingham (the three musketeers also sport some unique baby names for boys: Athos, Porthos, and my personal fave, Aramis).

So with all these new movies to promote, you can bet Orlando Bloom's Victoria's Secret bride, whom he married just last July, is going to be focused on getting red carpet ready after the birth of her baby boy. However, she's got a tragic family issue to deal with first: the home of her grandparents was destroyed by a fire earlier this week.

And speaking of models that have experienced terrible tragedies, Miranda Kerr's fellow Victoria's Secret model Petra Nemcova has also gotten engaged to an actor. Petra Nemcova's story of survival during the tragic 2005 tsunami that devastated Thailand has touched many, and her experience led to the model helping with recovery efforts by starting her own charity. Petra Nemcova and her boyfriend Simon Atlee were vacationing at the Khao Lak resort when the tsunami hit. She survived by holding on to a palm tree for eight hours, but her boyfriend became one of the many souls claimed by the devastating natural disaster.

So it's nice to hear some happy news for Petra Nemcova, who took a page from many celebrities by getting engaged to British actor Jamie Belman over the holidays. She's been with her new boyfriend-turned-fiancé for just eight months, so hopefully the fledgling couple lasts and creates a beautiful baby of their own someday.

So congrats to these models and their thespian men, as these couples made in Hollywood heaven both start 2011 with big milestones in their relationships.
