Misconceptions About the Law of Attraction

Frustrated with the Law of Attraction? This Guide Will Help Clear Up Some Confusion

Jim
In recent times mass awareness of the universal law of attraction has skyrocketed. Some doubt its validity, some embrace it, and some don't even know what it is. I have been studying the subject since I learned of it in early 2007 and have been working at applying it to my life. Granted I have has my shares of hits and misses but overall I am getting the concept down. Its application can be difficult at times as with anything new. Many times I hear people voicing complaints about it and how little success so many people seem to have with this. In my studies of this, I have learned there are some initial pitfalls that aren't always so obvious.

The first thing that I have learned on the subject is that the law of attraction covers everything in existence. Where I am going with this is that are there is more to life than money alone. Manifesting money is part of the use of the law of attraction, however not it's only single use. Use of the concept involves being honest with yourself as well as learning and applying new ideas, which takes time. The law of attraction is not a single use quick money fix as some would like to believe. Success often requires a lot of effort and dedication, which may not produce earth-shattering results. Sometimes, manifesting a few pennies is a major success. The monetary value might not be huge, however knowing you did that and how is worth much more than the physical item.

A wise man once said, "There is a fool born every minute". As far as the subject of the law of attraction and the Internet, that statement applies. Unfortunate as it may be, with any subject where there is a demand, there is someone waiting to take your money. Just as there are many scams to honest opportunities in home business, it's exactly the same with information about the law of attraction. I'm not saying that every author is a fake or fraud, however there are things to look for to determine if the information is legitimate. Many people know that people are always looking for a quick fix and lots of things on the Internet cater to that. If you are promised fast success and there are pictures of money stacks and cruise ships on the cover, move on.

Another important thing to remember is that the law of attraction has always existed. It's not a new thing, what's new is your awareness of it. All you really need to learn is your own creative process, which no one else can explain to you. Use of the law of attraction consciously requires trial and error. You're not going to hit the bull's-eye with every single intention. Frustration and working through emotions is part of the process and there is no magic trick to avoid it. It is possible to change and create your life to be what you want it to be but it's not going to happen over night and there are no shortcuts. Working on yourself can be hard work but when you begin to have success, it's well worth the effort involved!

The truth that I have learned is that how you approach the law of attraction is an important determining factor in how much success you will have. A red flag about complaints is that rule #1 about the law of attraction is that there is no room for blame. If you are to go into use of the law of attraction like a teenager trying to manipulate his or her parents into some free money, don't expect any success at all. A better attitude is to take a more humble heart felt approach. Approach the subject with willingness to learn and determination to try and fail, and try again. There is a wealth of information available on the subject is infinite so there is no reason to up and quit when something doesn't work out as planned.

Being that the subject can be very complex, always allow yourself time to learn. Some unpleasant facts that you are likely to learn are that instant gratification and social standards may not bring you happiness. The law of attraction is not very supportive of instant gratification, which may just be what drew you to it to start with. Using the law of attraction consciously is really a lifestyle all to it's self. With that said, it's only natural for one to take time to adjust to a new way of life. As previously stated, there is no quick overnight fix to everything. Patience is just part of the learning involved.

Accepting conscious awareness of the law of attraction is a choice. Some dismiss it and complain, which is entirely their choice. However, I do recommend making an informed decision on the matter. As with any subject, there are misconceptions that cloud the information and it's use. I have outlined some of the most popular ones regarding the law of attraction. I do recommend that if the law of attraction peaks your interest, investigate it and try it out on your own terms. The first step is to step out of the box, and create your own experience on the subject. After getting through the fog, I've found the law of attraction is the most fascinating subject I have ever explored.
