Some people offered their views and viewed the heat as an advantage. "It's a good thing that's why Europeans flock over here when it's winter that side," Philomena 'Mona' Mabuku said, regarding the beliefs that Africa is hot.
Mabuku admits that Africa is hot. "Hot in summer like God meant summer to be yes. Some areas are humid some not," she said.
Visiting Africa & Tourist attractions in Namibia
Hilda Nambambi, a Namibian student at university of Pretoria, said her favorite country to visit is Mozambique.
"I think it's the exotic beaches, the amazing tropical forests and not to forget the ancient buildings of the French colonial era and I bet the current development is cool too," Nambambi said.
One of the countries to visit in Africa is Namibia. Lüderitz is a harbor town located in the west of the country places to see include: German-colonial architecture, Dias Point and Shark Island.
Another tourist attraction is the Fish River Canyon, located in the west of the country; tourists can stay in the Fish River Lodge.
Located on the west is a resort town of Swakopmund town were Angelina Jolie gave birth to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Swakopmund is a popular destination for Namibians, as well as for people in Southern Africa and worldwide.
Other attractions are: Etosha Pan, Waterberg Park, Namib Naukluft Park, Fish River Canyon, Skeleton Coast, and the incredible Brandberg.
Animal lovers can visit the Etosha National Park. Etosha National Park is one of Southern Africa's premium most visited Game Reserves. Etosha Game park was declared a National Park in 1907 and covers an area of 22 270 square km, it is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species.
Visitors to Etosha can stay in the following three rest camps -Namutoni, Halali and Okaukuejo. So there is so much to see in Africa!

It is very true Africa's image is rather tarnished.. they are a lot of very good places in almost all the African countries.. but we always get the negative side only, yet we have a lot of people from developed countries who keep coming here..some of them don't even want to go back once they get to A..F..R..I..C..A others will find reasons to keep coming back..
There is indeed more to africa than starving children, underdevelopment etc. Apart from it being a village, as it is construed by those who have not been here, it is the best nature has to offer.
