If Misery loves company, what company might he keep?
Maybe Shame and Guilt, or Sadness on the nights he cannot sleep?
discouragement, disappointment, despair, and Doom and Gloom?
But if Misery invited her, would... aloneness join the room?
Maybe Shame and Guilt, or Sadness on the nights he cannot sleep?
discouragement, disappointment, despair, and Doom and Gloom?
But if Misery invited her, would... aloneness join the room?
And what if Hope came knocking, at the door by some strange fate?
Would he open and invite her in - even if the hour were late?
Perhaps that unexpected guest would inspire or confuse,
And Misery would think more about friends that he might choose.

This is incredible, you clearly have a knack for Personification and the artistic touch of saying so much in few words. I truly love it :]
