Miss California Carrie Prejean Nude Photos Scandal Hits the Web

Reportedly Nude and Topless Photos of Carrie Prejean Showed Up on the Web Today... But Did They?

Kathryn E. Darden
Cinco de Mayo brought some spicy controversy to the web as photos which were rumored to be topless and semi-nude photos of Miss California Carrie Prejean showed up on TheDirty.com.

Carrie Prejean vs. Perez Hilton

The first runner-up in the Miss USA competition first came to national attention not as a finalist in the competition, but as THE finalist who answered a politically-charged question asked by homosexual activist judge Perez Hilton about gay marriage. Prejean's honest opinion about marriage being between a man and a woman incensed the judge to the point of not only mocking Prejean publicly on his blog, but using hate speech in the terms he called her. You can read more about this at Miss California - Intolerance at the Miss USA Pageant.

Carrie Prejean and the "Nude" Photos Scandal

Now those who mocked Prejean for her Christian beliefs on the show are mocking her for ill-advised photos taken of her as a teen. I get it. The photos are in poor taste. I agree. I don't like them, either. But I don't think Prejean's detractors dislike the photos as much as I do. After all, Prejean's detractors are for all sorts of sexual liberties. And honestly, in the age of sexting and Brittny Spears' public vagina, Prejean's photos are relatively innocuous. The ones flying around the web today are neither nude nor are they topless. They show a young woman - probably a teen, who looks a great deal like Miss California, wearing pink panties and covering her top with her arms - much like what you see in perfume commercials or provocative teen clothing catalogs.

Carrie Prejean Addresses the "Topless" Photos

While some question whether or not the photos are really of Carrie Prejean, Prejean herself has not disputed that. What she has said is the photos were leaked to a web site that openly mocks her for her Christian faith, stating that
she is a modle and models pose for lingerie and swimwear photos. In her formal statement, Prejean says in part, "I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive."

Miss California USA Pageant Weighs in on "Topless" Photos

Now the directors of the Miss California USA pageant are reportedly looking into whether Carrie Prejean violated her contract by posing semi-clothed when she was a teenage model. Pageant spokesman Roger Neal said Tuesday that Carrie Prejean may have violated the 12-page contract that prospective contestants are required to sign before competing in the contest which asks if the contestants have ever been photographed nude or partially nude.

Whatever the outcome of the "nude photos scandal," Carrie Prejean has learned that teenage indiscretions can come back to bit you as an adult, and that her detractors will stoop to any level to shut her up and discredit her.

I love Carrie Prejean, no one is without sin and we all have make mistakes. I admire her for standing up for her beliefs GAY MARRIAGE should not be seen as normal. Marriage is between a man and a woman!

    Thanks for the info!

Why would a gay dude be a woman's beauty pageant judge anyway, who in their right mind would care what a gay guy thinks of a beautiful woman, they like guys! Duhh... Only straight guys should be a judge in these competitions, no women or dudes that want to be women can judge like a straight man can believe me.

Where are the "nude" pictures? These I find are only model pictures, hello?

LOL! Don't you know there are different standards conservatives and liberals must live and be judged by? If conservatives criticize, it is "hate speech." If liberals mock and insult, it is "freedom of speech." If a conservative drinks as a student, they are judged by that mistake forever. If a drunk liberal drives off a bridge and a young woman drowns, nothing is said or done for 40+ years. If homosexuals have sex in the street during a gay-rights parade, that is freedom of loving expression, but if a young Christian model has her photo taken at 17 with her breasts covered and her panties on, she is obscene. I am glad I could educate you, Sheryl, on the double standard that rules our PC world today. I will send you my bill!

What amazes me is we are asked to forget about Obama's younger years and associations, but to keep holding Bush's youthful drinking against him. To forget about Clinton and Monica, but to never let a girl who, in her younger age didn't maybe know any better - never live this down.

..what's most interesting is that these are not professional or modeling photos. Our source in San Diego tells us these are photos taken in the home (notice the shampoo, conditioner etc in the bottom left corner)..they are personal photos, not for the public, not taken by a professional photographer.

The jokes on all the people who thought they found some "risque modeling photos". These are ordinary photos that most models would take with their own or friends camera's to check out poses, skin/tan tones, clothing, weight distribution etc.
That is why they do not violate the Miss California contract and codes.

As the post above says, Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions shows more and we know several of the models there that are Christians...

Sorry, but there's no news or scandal here. They have to try another way to get rid of her and free speech...
