Miss Universe Sex Tape Scandal: Threesome S3x Tape Reveals Miss Trinidad and Tobago

The Miss Universe s3x tape scandal, the latest (and yes, there are so many it is getting difficult to keep up) that involves Miss Trinidad and Tobago (and not Miss Japan as originally thought), still has the internet burning, especially with users trying to find a copy of the sex tape for viewing. From various reports, the Miss Universe threesome sex tape is a hardcore three-way sex romp involving Miss Trinidad and Tobago 2008 Anya Ayoung-Chee, her boyfriend Wyatt Gallery, and a very close friend. News of the Miss Universe s3x (don't you just love that spelling?) tape hit the internet Tuesday and hasn't slowed down. Wyatt Gallery, the male star of the sex tape video and Anya Ayoung-Chee's boyfriend, told TMZ that the video was stolen from his laptop and its being disseminated was an intentional attack on the career of the Miss Universe 2008 beauty queen contender. But hasn't the world heard this before?

Besides the world of pageantry, who knew who Miss Trinidad and Tobago 2008 was? Even in the United States, where beauty pageants have become elevated events far beyond their social value, most people have no idea who won the Miss America or Miss USA pageants, and those that do tend to forget over time. And if the reader is honest with themselves, they will admit that not only is the aforementioned true but it is also true that most did not care who Miss Trinidad and Tobago was until they heard about the hardcore Miss Universe threesome sex tape and that a beauty queen was naked on film having sex.

People still didn't know who Miss Trinidad and Tobago was and many didn't care. But the constant exposure to the name Anya Ayoung-Chee with her title of Miss Trinidad and Tobago and her affiliation to the Miss Universe Pageant just might have a way of changing all that.

But these "leaks" and "intentional sabotagings of careers" are getting to be nearly scripted events, especially among those who are supposedly held to a higher standard. That is why Miss USA 1991 Kelli McCarty's adult film was such a refreshing change of pace. She was beauty queen. She liked having sex. Kelli McCarty was an actress. Kelli McCarty combined the latter two into an adult film project called "Faithless" and used her former beauty queen status and her years on the daytime drama "Passions" to sell her new venture.

And Kelli McCarty was honest about it.

The problem with most Miss Universe sex tape scandals (and other celebrity sex tape scandals) is the posturing and claim to victimhood that is presented in most cases (which may all be true, but the existence of the sex tapes to begin with shows a distancing from true inncence). Although it may be true that some were taken advantage of, after the first dozen sex tape video scandals launched or re-launched careers and made their participants plenty of money, it becomes difficult to believe when the focus of a sex tape or a spokesman states that the video is an attempt at destroying someone's career.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Most "leaked" sex tapes are done so for the money or the notoriety and the subsequent financial opportunities that arise from it. There may be a certain amount of vindictiveness in the maneuver, but the "leaking" of sex tape videos usually comes down to greed. If done by a third party, it may be a combination of both. If done by the "victim" or an advisor, publicist, friend, or whoever, paying lip service to the social inappropriateness of the existence of the sex tape becomes nothing but a disingenuous grasp at raw publicity for said "victim." As has been seen, even the publicity of a nonexistent sex tape (like the rumored Lauren Conrad sex tape) can boost a career.

Thus far, no sex tape scandal has ruined the career of anyone (except maybe a politician, but none come to mind). In fact, sex tape exposure seems to have enhanced many careers (such as those of former beauty queens Kari Ann Peniche and Carrie Prejean) -- and even made a few (like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton). But none seem to have been unduly hurt by them.

And this is not saying that Miss Trinidad and Tobago Anya Ayoung-Chee did not have a promising career in some field that the disclosure of her threesome sexual romp may impact adversely. Matt Gallery may be truly embarrassed that he wasn't a better caretaker of the Miss Universe sex tape involving himself, his girlfriend Miss Trinidad and Tobago 2008, and not-Miss Japan 2008. But a realist knows that this exposure will only make Anya Ayoung-Chee more famous, which in turn will generate more opportunities for her. A cynic will add that Matt Gallery is more than likely involved in the purported "leak" and the Miss Universe s3x tape video scandal is just a calculated move.

Because, how many people really knew who the Miss Universe 2008 contestant from Trinidad and Tobago was four days ago?

Everybody knows who she is now...
