In 2007, Miss Fakih participated in a stripping contest sponsored by a local radio station in Detroit, Michigan. The photographs show the very lovely, Lebanese born, Miss Fakih poised in a sexually provocative position (well, I mean, she is stripping), though she is fully clothed.
Surrounding the stage at the women only event, were other half clothed women, but, according to the report, our reigning Miss USA, Rima Fakih never actually took her clothes off. I feel so much better.
Miss Fakih took home the winning prize for stripping without stripping, which included jewelry, gift cards, adult sex toys and a stripper pole - all her own - that she could use at home.
I think it's safe to say at this point, that the pageant world just "ain't what it used to be." I mean, I remember the days of one piece bathing suits, baton twirling and classical music talent. Girls still had breasts that bounced and Anita Bryant was selling orange juice and taking on the homosexuals.
Now, the homosexuals are running the pageant and I don't think anybody's interested in orange juice anymore. Unless or course, there's vodka in it.
I suspect these photos will not mean much to Miss Fakih's reputation as the reigning Miss USA. Prior to the pageant, the Miss USA franchise released porn lingerie photos of the contestants, complete with fishnet hose, bondage boots and plenty of come hither poses.
See The Lingerie Photos Here.
Apparently, Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA and Miss America franchises, thought the photos were hot and tasteful. So, hey, what do I know?
I guess the days of hot dogs, Chevrolets and apple pie are over when it comes to the Miss USA and Miss America pageants. Now we have strippers, lingerie models, alcoholics, and drug addicts. What's next? Miss Lesbian USA? Miss Transgender USA? Or would that be Mr. Transgender?
I don't know about you, but if you ask me, Vanessa Williams deserves her crown back.

Post a CommentNo, Erik, you're not the only one who thought the Carrie Prejean story was overblown. I also agree with you, where are the liberal minded people when it comes to free speech for everyone? Hypocrisy abounds.
The photos of the "stripping" aren't scandalous at all. She has on all her clothes. In fact, I'd say the most scandalous photos of Miss Fikah are the lingerie pictures taken for the pageant. The pageant has definitly changed over the years, but this nonsense about her stripping is only sensationalist news casting.
BTW am I the only one who thinks the Carrie Prejean ordeal (on gay marriage) was overblown? I mean I don't care if gay or lesbian people want to marry, but isn't this the land of free opinion? Where the the "liberal" minded people when it comes to saying what we want?
Actually, she was in a radio station sponsored contest and wore shorts and a t-shirt, considerably more than she had on for the pageant. Had you actually viewed the pictures you might have noticed that. Very poor reporting.
Wow, didn't realize how much Miss USA has changed.
Great reporting! You are absolutely right - the pageant world definitely isn't what it used to be. It seems like every other day there's some winner attached to a big scandal. (Ok, so that was an exaggeration, but it feels like it!) :)
