Miss USA Rima Fakih's Pole Dancing, Approve or Remove

Sizzles, Fizzles or Drop it like It's Hot?

Lori Lane
Here comes Miss USA sliding up and down a 2007 stripper pole during Detroit's Mojo in the Morning radio pole dancing competition. Miss Michigan Rima Fakih, 24, first Arab-American to win Miss USA, has also been seen recently through a pageant photo-op dubbed as the Miss USA scandal pictures. A loop hole of approval opens?

Miss USA contestants were sporting lingerie, fishnet stockings and mysterious appeal, including Miss Michigan now Miss USA. View Miss Michigan through TMZ. In comparison, the pole dancing photos deem Fakih's photo-op flexibility.

In a past Fakih pole dancing photo found on NY Daily News Fakih's hands are holding a stripper pole while her back is against the pole, her legs are swayed to her right, her butt cheeks appear to be creeping out of her red shorts that could use another inch in length to avoid a raunchy wedgie. Her light blue shirt is nice, her heels tall, her face less than caked with make-up, her long legs appear lightly wet and sweaty with petite muscles. Less than all, she appears a dash rough to me. All in all, she is beautiful.

Fakih won the 2007 pole dancing contest and scored jewelry, gift cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for her home - not bad. But let's weight both sides, and the cash stuffed inside of Fakih's bra as seen in another photo, before passing too much judgment. Fakih supporters stand behind her but will it be enough for Fakih to reach what's in front of her?

Both Miss USA and Miss Universe reps called Mojo in the Morning and requested further photos of Miss USA Rima Fakih as shared by HLN's Showbiz Tonight. Miss USA and Miss Universe may find Rima Fakih pole dancing photos sizzling on the net but may fizzle their taste. Truth is, it appears Fakih was not fully naked in the photos, a plus that may save her spot on the Miss Universe competition and her Miss USA crown.

What message would Rima Fakih give the young generation when it comes to the road to Miss USA? We doubt that every little girl will start pole dancing in hopes of being "picked" as the next contestant. It just doesn't work that way. The Miss USA competition is for serious contenders that have been primping and cropping themselves for years in mirrors of reflection. Once chosen as Miss USA it's on the way to the Miss Universe competition.

Whether or not the Miss USA 2010 winner would be stripped of her crown is not known at this time. But if were up to you would you approve or remove Miss USA Rima Fakih's Miss Universe chances surrounding the latest racy photos? Would you say the web frenzy should move away from Fakih's past photo news and drop it like it's hot?

I don't think the contestants should be held to some hypocritical standard of Victorian purity. They should be allowed to enjoy their youth, up to a point.

This American would like to see the entire 'Miss USA/American' pageants disappear..it is difficult to find a young lady that is truly representative of that title...i have to go now & check out that video ;-)

It's not like she hit anybody with the pole, I don't want to watch it but I find the people who leak this stuff much more objectionable than her conduct. If there's a contractual issue they have to rescind the title, I think it's just sad.

I don't want to sound like a prude here - but I think it is behavior unbecoming to a Miss USA title holder. Geez, I don't want my daughters thinking that "Sex Sells" or wins prizes and I can hear it now, "Well, Miss USA does it!" Sorry, yank her crown! Cheers
